Gateway (PPG) configuration

The PPG configuration dialog box enables you to change
your PPGs description and set customize the numbers that
can be called through your PPG. |
VERY IMPORTANT note about numbers.
If you gateway is not correctly configured, calls can be
placed to expensive numbers such as 1-900 and international
calls.
WE ASSUME NO LIABILITY UNDER ANY
CIRCUMSTANCES FOR ANY CHARGES INCURRED.
Please, please
check that your gateway is configured as you intended
by using the
Number test utility. |

| Enable Gateway |
Use this check box to quickly
enable or disable your PPG. |
| Name |
The name of your PPG is set
when it is first installed and cannot be changed |
| Description 1 |
First part of the description
that will appear in the users Buddy List. |
| Description 2 |
Second part of the description
that will appear in the users Buddy List. |
| Area code |
The area code in which the PPG
is located. |
| Support webpage |
The webpage which users can be
directed to if they request support |
| Comment |
The information that a user
will see when they click on your PPGs entry in their Buddy
List. |

Checking what numbers can be
called
|
| Using
the Number test utility will enable you to check if a number can
be called through your PPG.
Please take the time to confirm that numbers
that you want to have calls placed to will work OK and that
numbers that you don't want calls placed to are blocked. |

Setting the numbers that can be
dialed through your PPG
|
| To
enter a new number, click "Add". Enter
the numbers that you want to enable calls to be placed to. The
numbers should be entered as they would be dialed from a regular
phone that is connected to the phone line used by the PPG.
For
example;
437???? will enable all numbers between 4370000 and 4379999 to
be called through your PPG.
12125551212 will allow calls to this specific number.

Numbers that cannot be
dialed through your PPG
|
| To
enter a new number, click "Add". Enter
the numbers that you want to be blocked. The numbers should be
entered as they would be dialed from a regular phone that is
connected to the phone line used by the PPG.

Numbers that do not
count for a users time allocation
|
| To
enter a new number, click "Add". This
option only applies if you have created user names and
passwords. A user has a time limit for calls, there may be
numbers that you do not want to count towards a users time
allocation. |
