Phone number testing and controls

Checking what numbers can be called

Using the Number test utility will enable you to check if a number can be called through your PPG.

Please take the time to confirm that numbers that you want to have calls placed to will work OK and that numbers that you don't want calls placed to are blocked.

Setting the numbers that can be dialed through your PPG

To enter a new number, click "Add".

Enter the numbers that you want to enable calls to be placed to. The numbers should be entered as they would be dialed from a regular phone that is connected to the phone line used by the PPG.

For example;

437???? will enable all numbers between 4370000 and 4379999 to be called through your PPG.

12125551212 will allow calls to this specific number.

Numbers that cannot be dialed through your PPG

To enter a new number, click "Add".

Enter the numbers that you want to be blocked. The numbers should be entered as they would be dialed from a regular phone that is connected to the phone line used by the PPG.

Numbers that do not count for a users time allocation

To enter a new number, click "Add".

This option only applies if you have created user names and passwords. A user has a time limit for calls, there may be numbers that you do not want to count towards a users time allocation.
