Changing your Options

The options dialog box enables you to change your preferences.

In your Buddy List, Click on the Tools button Then click on "Options"

Options dialog box;   Auto connect to the Internet, if you have a dial-up connection and would prefer that IP Phone Center did not dial in to your ISP, uncheck this box. IMPORTANT without this box checked, you need to manually connect to the Internet before you place a call.   Display caller details, check this box to display incoming caller details.    Skip greeting message, check if you would prefer not to here a greeting message when you place a call to a PPG.   Enable advanced Echo cancellation, Check if you like to enable the echo cancellation.   Display alerts when buddies go online or offline, Check if you would like be alerted when buddies go online or offline.   Open main window when IP Phone Center starts, check if you would like IP Phone Center main window open when IP Phone Center start.   Hide console while you are dialing to a default gateway, check if you don't want the default gateway dialog box pop up while you are making a call.   Hide DialPad while you are in a call, check if you don't want the DialPad pop-up during the call   Enable Skype keypad control, check if you like to use the hardware with Skype. If check, the default gateway function will be disabled.   Internet, leave on Auto detect.   PPG LAN IP address, do not change unless instructed by technical support   Public PPG update, click to add the latest selection of PPGs that anyone can use to your Buddy List.

Changing your personal information in "My Information"

All of your personal information can be changed with the exception of the email ID that you use for IP Phone Center.

To open My information, click on tools and My information.

The email ID that you used when you first logged on is linked to your serial number and cannot be changed (for your protection). If you change the email ID you will not be able to log in again.

If for any reason you do need to change the email ID you will need to reinstall, during the installation you will have the opportunity to update your personal information including the email ID.
