Tunnel mode - inbound calls

What this test checks

This test checks that calls using the special Tunnel mode protocol can be received by receiving a test call from the server.

What this result means

Your port 6667 is closed and it needs to be open.

How to fix this issue

Since most of the router does not have port 6667 open

Super Tunnel Mode (STM) has been specially developed to fix this problem. If you have super Tunnel mode 2 (STM2) working, you will be ok to receive call without opening this port. However, the audio quality may not be optimiized.

Please open the 6667 TCP port at your personal firewall . If you are running Windows XP please check here.

 

Internet connection via a router or proxy server
