NetMeeting mode - inbound calls

What this test checks

This test checks that NetMeeting mode for inbound calls is fully functional by receiving a call from the test server.

What this result means

Your port 1720 is closed and it needs to be open or your router is not netmeeting compatible.

 

If you have ver.816 or up, you don't need to worry about this test anymore

How to fix this issue

Since most of the router is not netmeeting compatible,

Super Tunnel Mode (STM) has been specially developed to fix this problem. If you have Super Tunnel Mode working,

you don't need Netmeeting mode anymore and should able to receive call

Direct connection to the Internet

Please open the 1720 TCP port at your personal firewall . If you are running Windows XP please check here.

 

Internet connection via a router or proxy server

Please open the 1720 TCP port at your router or proxy server. If the proxy server is a PC running ICS under Windows XP please check here.
