How Does It Work?


You place your call from a USB Internet phone installed in Computer A or from a regular phone connected via a USB to phone adaptor installed in Computer B. Use the IP Phone Center application to connect your call.	Your call goes over the Internet . . .	. . . to the Computer C with Personal Phone Gateway (PPG) installed. PPG will automatic dial the phone number specified by you and connect your call. Your call is connected via PPG to the local telephone network.

So . . how does it work?

Your call goes over the Internet just like a web page or email, so wherever in the world you are connected to the Internet you can place calls (even when using the Internet service on an airplane!).

When your call gets to the PPG, it will automatic dial and connect to the phone number you specified. The call is connected via PPG to local regular telephone system.

They simply connect to your USB PPG over the Internet and place their call. The long distance part of the call travels over the Internet just like a web page or an email. Powerful options

On installation calls are only permitted to numbers in your area code. To enable calls to other area codes you can choose area codes and even specific numbers to which calls can be placed.

Shares the line

You can connect your PPG to any phone line, it will check for a dial tone before connecting the Internet call to the phone line so easy to share a single phone line.

Echo free

Your calls will be completely echo free unlike other products that subject the person you are calling to a very distracting echo that makes them want to hang up as soon as possible. When you place a call using our phone, most users will think that you are using a regular toll (high cost) phone.

Easy installation

Installation is simple, insert the CD to install the PPG application Note; NO drivers are required, the CuPhone USB PPG uses the Microsoft drivers included with Windows. Then plug in the USB cable from the USB PPG. The PPG application supports Windows XP, 2000, ME, 98SE and 98. You can use any PC for the USB PPG as is only uses a few CPU cycles and the PC can be used just like any other PC with no noticeable difference in operation.
